Our Education System

Imparting core values in children for all round development has always been our motive as an educational institution. Our core education system follows NCERT guideline relating to imparting fundamental knowledge of all the aspects of life into future global citizens. We adhere to norm of CBSE for our English Medium while for Gujarati Medium we adhere to norms of GSEB or traditionally know as Gujarat Board.

Amalgamation of the world known works of Madam Maria Montessori, Howard Gardner and Benjamin Bloom and Dr. Bernice McCarthy, we’ve developed a methodology which leads to growth of the child without enforcing traditional see-write-remember approach.

Year of experience has lead us to fine-tuning process of passing on torch of education to generations year by year with appropriate changes when necessary. Our current education system has been divided into two areas :

    1. Scholastic area, which focuses on gaining knowledge of traditional subjects based on NCERT textbooks.
    2. Co-scholastic area, which focuses on over all development of child which otherwise is not covered in textbooks.

We strongly believe that each individual has different abilities of learning things, our teachers find out these ways and help them grow at their own pace providing sufficient guidance and stimulus that increases the growth. Our core education system correctly represented by the following diagram.

Scholastic Area

The modern Indian education system has always emphasized on marks of the students via various examinations conducted throughout the year.
Though it may not be the best way to measure growth, one has to believe in the importance of getting good marks in various examinations and the effect of it on the morale of the students. We have always endeavored in giving the best to the students via well-trained teachers and a strong fundamental system that focuses on the individual.

Some of the highlights of our focus on the scholastic area are listed below:

  • Learner-Centered teaching method.
  • Interactive teaching-learning process.
  • Learning by Doing use of 3H (Hand, Heart, Head).
  • Combination of Vedic and Modern teaching methods.
  • More Focus emphasis on understanding on the application of the than subject memorization.
  • Challenge the bright learners and cater to the need of slow learners.
  • Proper distribution of time in all learning areas for the all-around development of the child.
  • Highly qualified teachers, Low Student-Teacher ratio, and continuous inbuilt in-service training
  • Separate HRD section for continuous innovation in the education system.

Co-Scholastic Area

Just having a good academic record was never enough measure of how the students have developed through the year. We are a firm believer in the fact that a student has to develop in all aspects of his student life.
We provide a wide spectrum of various activities outside the classroom for the all-around progress of children. To give a competitive environment for activities, we have divide students of the whole school into three wings

Clubs Wing (Std: 1 to 4)

Juniors Wing (Std: 5 to 8)

Seniors Wing (Std: 9 to 12)

Each of the wings is again divided into four houses vis.

      Eklavya / Noble

      Abhimanyu/Ideal

      Nachiketa / Calibre

      Upmanyu/Elite.

For the whole year, we organize various inter-house competitions, Annual sports day, Annual cultural day, etc.

      Our Teaching Methods

We use number of different teaching methods for educating disciples most them can be categorized into the following –

Explanation: Explaining is the process of teaching by giving spoken explanations of the subject that is to be learned. Lecturing is often accompanied by visual aids to help students visualize an object or problem. The school has state of the art multimedia lab that helps teacher to explain the subject deeply and students to understand the same.

Demonstration: Demonstrating is the process of teaching through examples or experiments. We use our well-equipped experiment labs for experiments so that the students can relate the learning form textbook to real life. Demonstrations help to raise student interest and reinforce memory retention because they provide connections between facts and real-world applications of those facts.

Collaborating: Collaboration allows students to actively participate in the learning process by talking with each other and listening to other points of view. Collaboration establishes a personal connection between students and the topic of study and it helps students think in a less personally biased way. Group projects and discussions are examples of this teaching method. Teachers may employ collaboration to assess student’s abilities to work as a team, leadership skills, or presentation abilities.

Learning By Teaching: In this method we encourage students to play role of teacher for certain amount of time thus making him learn and understand the subject and also communicating the same to other.
